Earlier this week, students from our highly successful Aboriginal Art program invited family, friends and staff to attend the opening of yet another stunning exhibition of their work. On this occasion, the display (entitled “Our Journey”) can be found in the Nautilus Arts Centre’s Gallery Shop, and features artworks and accompanying practitioner’s statements produced by the talented students throughout the year.
The official opening duties were performed by Year 8 students Nathaniel Hirschausen-Burk, Nadine Richards and Macinta Fowler, with support from their teacher, Ms Wanda Jarvis. Attendees also enjoyed a light lunch and refreshments.
We urge all citizens to hurry to the Gallery Shop to view this outstanding collection – after today’s cruise ship visit, they may not be much left to see!
