Delicious Reconciliation Week Morning Tea

As part of our ongoing Reconciliation Week celebrations, a morning tea was held in the Aboriginal Education Room earlier today. Miss Kesby Turner-Wiebreck and some Year 8 Social Education students prepared delicious treats with a Native Australian ingredient theme – the quondong tarts with lemon myrtle cream were a highlight!

As pictured below, Port Lincoln Times journalist Lauren Dinning was also in attendance – keep an eye out for her Reconciliation Week article in the coming days.

Other Year 8 classes are participating in Reconciliation Week-inspired activities today, including Indigenous Australian games, Art, Dance and a role play post 1800’s.
