Uni Graduate Tiarnie’s Inspirational Story

Earlier this week, we were delighted to receive the following email from former PLHS student, Crystal Te Ariki. Crystal (who is currently working for a Queensland-based building design company), wanted to update us about another former student…

“Hello,

I just wanted to reach out regarding a former PLHS student, Tiarnie Edwards.

Tiarnie entered university through UniSA’s Aboriginal Pathway Program four years ago and has recently graduated from UniSA’s Bachelor of Contemporary Art with multiple awards. Currently, Tiarnie has won studio placements with organisations such as the Jam Factory, with their ceramic works being featured in exhibitions in SA and WA.

I’ve attached the link to the UniSA article below. I believe Tiarnie has a very empowering story which could help other PLHS students who may feel anxiety or appreciation towards taking the next step towards higher education or perusing their passion.

Thank you for your time,

Crystal Te Ariki

Congratulations on your wonderful achievements, Tiarnie – and thank you for the thoughtful update, Crystal. Non Nobis Solum.
