The Malka Art Prize is the brainchild of the late Mr. Marvin McKenzie Senior; his vision was to have an Aboriginal art prize that would provide Indigenous communities with a space to showcase their work. Malka has now been running for thirteen years and provides is an annual opportunity for Aboriginal artists to exhibit their talent; winners often progress to state and national exhibitions.
