SAPOL Issue Update: No Risk to Public

South Australian Police have issued the following update in relation to an incident involving a student after school on Thursday… 

“Police have spoken to a man following an investigation into a report of suspicious behaviour. About 3.15pm on Thursday 14 May, a teenager reported being spoken to by an unknown man near a Port Lincoln school.

Following inquiries, Port Lincoln Police located and spoke to the man today and are satisfied that there was no malice in the incident and there is no risk to the public.

Police encourage the reporting of suspicious behaviour so it can be investigated by police. The public is asked to share this information to reduce any fear in the community.”
