“Salt Bush” Delivers Native Australian Cuisine

Following last Thursday’s “Café Poseidon”, Miss Kesby Turner-Wiebreck’s Year 12 Food & Hospitality class delivered their pop-up restaurant on Friday evening – we are delighted to report that “Salt Bush” was also a resounding success.

Once again, the event was held on our Commercial Kitchen deck, with a sold-out crowd of friends, family and PLHS staff members in attendance. On this occasion, patrons enjoyed a three-course menu devised to celebrate native Australian cuisine, including a main course dish featuring our PLHS barramundi.

Also present on the night was Southern Cross TV journalist Nathan Regter – he filmed a story about the event which is due to air on Wednesday night’s edition of the 7 Spencer Gulf Nightly News.

Congratulations to the students and staff involved in the planning and execution of “Salt Bush”.
