Port Players Visit SAASTA Class

On Tuesday March 4th, PLHS was fortunate to be visited again by several members of the Port Adelaide Football Club. On this occasion, the Power players and staff spent the day with thirteen of our SAASTA (South Australian Aboriginal Sports Training Academy) students.

The Power team facilitated sessions that allowed our students to explore their various language groups, set goals, develop their cultural understanding and discuss opportunities for Aboriginal students transitioning between school and work. The students were also treated to a practical session run by current PAFC players Steven Motlop and Aidyn Johnson.

We would like to thank the Port Adelaide Football Club and associated sponsors – their continued support is helping South Australian Aboriginal students make their mark.
