After being fortunate to earn an $8000 scholarship to immerse ourselves in the Indonesian culture, myself and Ashleigh Davis (Keith Area School) travelled from Java to Flores to Bali. We visited several schools and sites of significance. In addition, we met amazing people who will hopefully become lifelong contacts and look forward to sharing what we learned with our students.
