Flinders Uni STEM Workshops for Year 9 Girls

Late last term, our female Year 9 students had an incredible opportunity to dive into the world of STEM. Hosted in collaboration with Flinders University, the workshops were designed to inspire and engage girls in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Our students experienced hands-on physics demonstrations and took part in an innovative activity to create bio-friendly plastics. Students also took part in a Q&A session with female senior lecturers and researchers from Flinders University about their pathways into studying STEM.

This event is a part of our ongoing commitment to encourage more female students to explore STEM-related pathways. We are so proud of all participants for stepping into the future of science and technology with curiosity and enthusiasm!
