Ms Shannon Nagel and Mrs Joh Walding’s Year 7 HPE classes are in the midst of a “Paddock to Snack Safari” unit of work. Recently, we learned that making fruit more presentable means people are more likely to eat it; check out some of the amazing examples from our Year 7’s which are designed to appeal to junior primary school-aged children.
We learned that snacks are really good for us, but some are better than others. Students discovered that there are nutritional gains in all foods, but that it is best to enjoy snacks that are made from scratch. Next, we will be learning about sustainable and innovative snacks.
