Audiences Delighted by “The Little Mermaid”

Earlier today, a talented cast and crew of Year 9 Drama students delivered their final performance of “The Little Mermaid”, this year’s Pantomime. Throughout the course of this week, the ensemble has presented this much loved children’s story to hundreds of local school and kindergarten children.

The production – brilliantly conceived and directed once again by PLHS Drama teacher Mrs Helen Marks – incorporated elements of the animated Disney film and the original fairy tale by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen. Aside from the engaging performances from our young actors and dancers, the show was complemented by visually spectacular sets, costumes, props, lighting and technical effects.

Bravo to the entire team – your efforts brought joy to audiences young and old.

Absolutely fabulous, fantastic, magical performance! Congratulations to everyone involved especially Mrs Marks who must have the patience of a saint. Well done performers and backstagers.
So proud to be ‘Panto Parents’.
