As a dedicated, diverse and experienced team we have worked with many students who have encountered barriers to success.
We share a common goal to utilise our knowledge, experience and relational skill to assist students to realise their full potential.
The BRIDGE team consists of four full time staff members. The Manager, Teacher, Family Coordinator and Student Support Officer provide intensive support to students focusing on Literacy, Numeracy, Life and Social Skills.
Upon enrolment, parents and carers are supplied with a resource guide that outlines our Skills for Success program and additional supports available.
Following the 10 week placement in BRIDGE, staff continue to support to ensure a positive educational pathway.
Our teaching team deliver learning programs aligned to the Australian curriculum and students work towards set agreed goals and are expected to engage positively in the program and develop skills to improve their participation. To facilitate this, students are involved in designing their learning programs, including activities such as: photography, cooking, music and arts.
The BRIDGE learning environment is a predictable, calm and safe environment. Intensive support is provided by the four full time staff members, with a maximum of 15 students per cohort.
