Welcome to the Port Lincoln High School website
2008 promises to be another exciting year for the Port Lincoln High School, with many developments being planned.
This includes our 3 million dollar capital works project, which will see a new building constructed in the school to replace a group of older wooden buildings. The “Centre of Innovation” will support the development of new and exciting curricula.
We are also expanding our Aquaculture facilities this year. A purpose built classroom will be added alongside the existing shed which houses the tanks and other equipment. This will provide an excellent area for this popular curriculum area.
Another important change this year is the trial of our new Middle Schooling structures at the Year 8 level, offering a contemporary and supportive start to high school for our new Year 8 students.
Finally, it was very pleasing to see virtually all of our 2007 Year 12 students move into their preferred post school option after receiving their final results. Hopefully this year's cohort can match or better these achievements.
